They are so intrigued and engaged.\r\nThey are building a pathway, testing it, making adjustments and then finding a solution if it doesn't work. We have even had students from other classrooms come over to explore and enjoy it.\r\nAnother center we were able to add to our classroom is the light table. The materials you provided have been such a great addition. We have been incorporating new activities at the light table and the children are using it to enhance their math, literacy, language, social and fine motor skills. \r\nThis has been a real great addition to our classroom.\r\nThe cozy cabana that we put in our cozy corner to support social emotional well-being has also provided a great retreat for children who need a minute. It really enhances the cozy and calm atmosphere we wanted to create. \r\nThe log seats have became a favorite place to sit in our writing center, and at our light table.\r\nThey are soft and sturdy and bring in a touch of nature to our classroom.\r\nWe are using the alphabet stamps often at our table time and free choice. This is providing additional exposure in language and literacy.\r\nThe kiddos have enjoyed the forest animal magnetic materials that we added to our block center.\r\nWe couldn't have had the amazing experiences we've had without your generous support to our classroom! \r\nThank you!","fullyFundedDate":1743294976167,"projectUrl":"project/pre-k-classroom-learning-materials/9199840/","projectTitle":"Pre-K Classroom Learning Materials","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Van Eaton","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9238085"},{"teacherId":9238169,"projectId":9113039,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donations. My plan was to put together a cart with fun enrichment and brain activities that the students could earn time with when they finished checking out their books in the library. Each week the best behaved kids in a class would earn a star sticker for the next week. Those students were the first to be able to check out books, and were given their choice of puzzles, brain teasers, art books and other activities. I had been having some behavior problems when my elementary classes came to the library, so I came up with the idea that perhaps they would behave better if they knew that good behavior could earn them some time with something fun.\r\nI set up stations - at first 6 stations, then I added two more. With the money from my generous donors, I purchased items like Etch-a-Sketch, Kanoodle games, small and large puzzles, wooden brain teaser puzzles, Creating Art with Sticker books, Stacking toys, and Kinetic Sand. I did this with 3rd and 4th grade this year as that is where we were having the most difficulties. It was fun to see them creating with the Etch-a-Sketch, a toy I played with when I was young. I hope to add even more activities next year. Sometimes ideas wear out and you have to move on to new ideas, but so far this one is still working. I am thankful for this tool that helps me keep my kids focused during their time with me. Thank you so much to all who donated towards my idea in the Kiowa Elementary Library!","fullyFundedDate":1735660832886,"projectUrl":"project/library-enrichment-activities/9012126/","projectTitle":"Library Enrichment Activities","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Sewald","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/1989663"},{"teacherId":9630372,"projectId":8953285,"letterContent":"On behalf of the students and staff at Kiowa High School, I want to extend our heartfelt thanks for your generous donation of science supplies for our classrooms and laboratory.\r\n\r\nYour support has made an immediate and meaningful impact on our students. In a rural school like ours, access to up-to-date science equipment is often limited, and your contribution has opened up new opportunities for hands-on learning, experimentation, and curiosity-driven discovery. From classroom decor and student workbooks to lab kits, each item you've provided has already enhanced our ability to deliver engaging, practical science education.\r\n\r\nFor many of our students, this is their first time working with real lab materials. The excitement in their eyes as they conduct experiments, ask questions, and explore the natural world is inspiring. You've not only enriched their learning experience, but you've also helped spark an interest in science that could shape their futures.\r\nThank you for believing in the power of education and for choosing to invest in our school.
