As teachers we know that students have better focus and engagement when they are able to have movement. Hard plastic chairs offer very little opportunity for movement. Having a flexible seating option for my third graders will help them have the option of mobility that is good for their bodies and their minds while limiting distractions for the rest of the classroom. I would love for my students to have these Balance Ball chairs to sit on in our classroom. I know that it will make a big difference for my students to be able to have the freedom to move while learning and not distracting the rest of the class.
