Students created small fused glass pieces and were excited to see how their designs changed in the kiln. Their curiosity and focus during this process showed how meaningful hands-on materials can be.\r\n\r\nThe stilts have also made a big impact in our ceramics program by improving the glazing process. Students can now glaze pottery more confidently and with fewer issues during firing, allowing them to focus on craftsmanship instead of mistakes.\r\n\r\nNext, students will continue experimenting with glass fusing and refining their designs, while also applying improved glazing techniques to functional pottery projects.
