It has been wonderful to see students find a space where they feel comfortable and ready to learn. A special moment was watching my kindies get to choose their own seating and settle in with a smile. They were excited to have some independence and choice!\r\n\r\nOur next steps are to continue practicing our classroom routines and building our classroom skills. These new resources have already made a big difference in our classroom.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the materials, they were so excited! They couldn't wait to touch the Play-Doh, try the games, and use the new whiteboards. The excitement was fun to see! We are using these materials to learn while we play. The Play-Doh is helping students strengthen their fine-motor skills and practice making letters and numbers as well as just having fun! Our games give students opportunities to practice taking turns, following directions, counting, and working together. The whiteboards are especially helpful for practicing letters, sounds, numbers, and beginning writing.
