I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation to our students this year.\r\n\r\nYour gifts have made a tremendous difference in my work with special education students who struggle with emotional regulation. The Laminating Pouches have allowed me to create personalized charts that help students monitor their emotions and identify when they need coping tools and strategies. The iPad and Sand Art light have provided a calming space for dysregulated students, helping them safely re-regulate their emotions. The guided mindfulness exercises on the iPad are invaluable in teaching students techniques to maintain control in stressful situations.\r\n\r\nThe iPad has also been an essential tool for evaluating students for intellectual disabilities, mental health needs, emotional disabilities, and autism. Its interactive format allows students to engage authentically, making the evaluation process more relevant and meaningful to them.\r\n\r\nAlthough the electricity ball for my autistic students was unavailable, I sincerely appreciate your consideration in funding that part of my project.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, I have been able to make a significant impact on our community. Together, we are empowering our future with the tools necessary for success.\r\n\r\nThank you once again for your support.","fullyFundedDate":1727462593941,"projectUrl":"project/mental-health-tools-skills-for-middle/8561220/","projectTitle":"Mental Health Tools & Skills for Middle School Teens","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Hall","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9296008"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_41628","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":660,"numTeachers":51,"percentFrplEligible":24,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":70,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":21,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"7 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"12.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_SMALL"},"inStateSupporters":71.4,"schoolId":41628,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Castle Rock Middle School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Castle Rock Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/colorado/douglas-county-school-district-re-1/castle-rock-middle-school/41628"}
