The wobbly chairs, cushion seats, and floor chairs had been a great help keeping our students engaged and staying focus while working with whole class, in small groups and working independently. The feelings chart help my students identify their feelings and what can they do when they are feeling overwhelmed, mad, or feeling sad and how to regulate their emotions.\r\nMy students were very thrilled when they first saw these materials. They become more motivated when we discuss how these materials can help them stay on task and engaged in class. \r\nI will attach some photos below so you could take a peek of how my students are using the classroom tools. We are also learning how to take care of these materials and keeping them clean so we can continue use them in class and pass along to the future students of this classroom. \r\nAgain, thank you for being part of my students learning. In a process that is far more then building plastic pieces, our students are actively engaged in imaginative building, value based problem solving and active critical thinking. My students engaged in design thinking when face with a real world problem and trying to design a print that might solve that problem. They brainstormed, began designs and created multiple iterations of a single project. Using design software the tested there ideas and helped each other test their products. This process enhances their spatial reasoning as they visualize objects in three dimensions, strengthening their understanding of geometric concepts. When a print fails or a design requires adjustments, students must analyze the issue, troubleshoot, and apply critical thinking to find solutions, fostering resilience and a growth mindset. \r\nThey worked together, collaborating and communicating to work through issues and errors as they came upon them. Hands-on experience with digital design and printer mechanics began building technical literacy, while mathematical concepts are applied practically in design and scaling.\r\nWe've see a wonderful impact with students designing, creating their visions and then fixing real world problems uncovered during their print. But more then anything else, I witnessed real, excited student engagement in academic learning and real time growth.","fullyFundedDate":1734560010903,"projectUrl":"project/unleash-innovation-with-a-classroom-flas/8939136/","projectTitle":"Unleash Innovation with a Classroom FLASHFORGE Adventurer 5M 3D Printer!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Lueck","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp2700182_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1453832136679","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/jlueck"},{"teacherId":9721565,"projectId":8726928,"letterContent":"When my students first saw the new materials, their reactions were full of excitement and enthusiasm. They were eager to dive into the new books, which cover a wide range of interesting topics that motivate them to read more. It was truly rewarding to watch them get lost in a new story with such curiosity. Additionally, the new small group chairs created a more comfortable and collaborative environment. Students now enjoy working together on projects, sitting in a more relaxed and focused way, which encourages better communication and teamwork.\r\n\r\nThe next steps for our current projects are even more exciting. We're working on a unit where students will research topics related to nature and the environment, using the new books as one of their main resources. They will have the chance to organize their group work using the new chairs, which will help them create collaborative presentations more effectively. Additionally, the materials like the clipboards and magnetic hooks will help display their work, creating a sense of pride in their effort and achievements. We're excited to see how these new resources continue to spark their creativity and passion for learning.\r\n\r\nThanks to your support, we've not only improved our classroom dynamics, but the students are more motivated and engaged than ever in their learning.
