Their eyes were lit up and they had smiles from ear to ear.\r\n\r\nOur new soft blocks allow to to explore indoor play safely. We can build and crash towers with no risk for bumps and bonks. Students have been able to create new structures and use their imaginations to engage in building projects together. They are always so proud that their structures are taller than they are!\r\n\r\nOur soft crash pad has provided refuge to students deealing with frustration. It has also been an area of the classroom where staff can build trusting and joyful relationships with students. I really enjoy bringing fun into the classroom with different materials and supplies. \r\n\r\nMany of my students enjoy feeling like they have something special, so having their own set of pens to edit their writing makes them feel more independent. They love white boards and ours were very old, so the new ones erase a lot better. Each student takes care of their own materials with the pencil bags. All of the school supplies helped, since I purchase many of them out of my own pocket. Items like post-its, white board markers, paper, etc. make a huge difference.
