The monitor and adaptor have helped support in a number of ways. I can project schedules and meeting information on slideshows to groups of kids, teachers, and parents. I also can complete teletherapy with students and the massive amount of paperwork that comes with teaching speech and language skills to students.\r\n\r\nThe felt sets, felt board, and sequencing game have been supporting the students' abilities to retell stories and understand sequenced directions. The positional word activity set has also been instrumental in teaching kids spatial concepts. The phonics tools support their learning of speech sounds, speech production, and improvement of their overall intelligibility.\r\n\r\nThe little games like Pop the Pig, the Fishing game, the Unicorn game as well as the party favors are great incentives to keep the students working and focused on their goals. By receiving more paper, I have been able to print more hands on activities to help students with their learning. Students with Autism and other students with sensory processing needs now have access to noise cancelling headphones to help with their regulation, which allows them to remain in class with their typically developing peers. Fidget items like stress balls have helped my students with ADHD and other movement, focus, and attention needs participate and focus more in class. My students also love seeing books that represent their unique and diverse backgrounds in the classroom.
