I was able to create a summer goody bag for all of my students. They were provided with some math practice to continue their math skills over the summer. They received a mechanical pencil to complete the work with, without having to worry about sharpening. They also received some fun stuff. They recieved a blank notebook for drawing or journaling, colored pencils that did not require sharpening. They also got a fun magnetic drawing board and some putty to help keep them calm. The students were VERY excited when they got their summer bags. Many of them shared when we came back that they practiced their math facts over the summer. Other students shared that they were able to take the stuff with them on long road trips to visit family in other parts of the United States including trips to Mexico.
