The variety of beads, pipe cleaners, and styrofoam balls were a big hit! They especially like wrapping the myelin sheath with Saran wrap!\r\n\r\nStudents were super creative with colors, size, length, etc. and each group had a unique neuron, which represents one of the over 10 billion neurons in our brain. The mood was positive and fun and as I rotated around to each group, they were able to describe everything about the neuron and it's processes. We displayed them and some even made the \"Wall of Fame\" as the best neurons in the class.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for providing this great hands-on learning opportunity for my AP Psychology students: truly an activity they will remember!","fullyFundedDate":1732645824225,"projectUrl":"project/making-neurons-fun-as-well-as-hygiene/8544737/","projectTitle":"Making Neurons Fun!
