We use Chromebooks on a daily basis to do iReady lessons. Some headphones break and either teachers, families, or the school need to purchase more to replace them. This has made instruction easier and uninterrupted. Students are using notebooks and pencils during writing workshop to draft their personal narratives, and crayons/markers for illustrating their stories. One favorite project has been our \"All About Me\" posters at the start of the year — students used the new supplies to create colorful posters that are now proudly displayed around our classroom.\r\n\r\nThey were so excited to have everything they needed right at their fingertips! Many of my students come to school without all of their supplies, so the moment they saw brand-new crayons, markers, and notebooks, there were smiles all around. A few even said, \"This feels like Christmas!\"\r\n\r\nOur next step is to dive into our writing and math journals. Students will be using their new notebooks daily for problem-solving and reflections.
