They each got their own phone to put in their book bag, and loved when they could hear their voices so clear. The headphones had the same effect. They loved having a pair of headphones that was just theirs and they treated them with such respect. The ownership that this encouraged has been so fun to witness. \r\nThe lacing cards have helped so many of my students that came to school with little to no small motor skills. \r\nThe stacking rocks and the building blocks have encouraged creativity and out of the box thinking as they build new things and determined how to stack the blocks so they could build a tall tower. \r\nOur next steps are to continue using the blocks to make new creations; we have an upcoming lesson on houses and we will be using the blocks to make unique houses. In science, we will be studying balance, and will be using the stacking blocks to show how balance works. \r\nThank you again for your generosity.
