With the materials, I have been able to support students in small groups and teach lessons with all of my students. \r\nI have several small groups. One is helping students with organizational skills One of the books that was purchased has many activities to support the students in learning skills. The students also have difficulties with transitioning, getting started on assignments and understanding how much time has passed. I have been able to implement the visual timers to assist with this. I have small groups for lunch and we set the timers so that we know when to go back to class. \r\nI also have groups supporting students with anxiety and emotional regulation. The activities in the books that were purchased also support with this. This week, 100% of my 3rd graders were able to identify calming strategies when they are angry or sad.
