After unrolling our new carpet it was the place in our classroom where we continued to build our community. We used it to meet for morning meetings where we answered questions, played a game and got to learn more about each other outside of school. We met for daily lessons and engaged with each other in partnerships. It was the perfect place do build my students up both socially and academically. \r\nThe students reaction when they saw the new rug was priceless. They were so excited to have a space to call their own on the carpet. We loved gathering together and they were excited to have something new in our classroom. We used the snacks in our class economy where students can buy snacks right before recess. They loved the variety in having different snacks to choose from and it was very helpful in helping students focus on learning and not feel hungry. \r\nWe used the band aids in our classroom for injuries both big and small. Students were able to use the hand sanitizer daily before snack and lunch to keep us healthy through the cold season. The students were so excited for the snacks and enjoyed the independence of getting their own band aid. We thank you all so much for your donation and my students enjoyed these items until the last day of school.
