They are delighted to see sprouts already growing! \r\n\r\nWe have many more seeds we will plant in the spring, and I shared some seeds with the other 2nd-grade classroom! Thank you so much for the abundance. The children are excited to make their own fries from the potato eyes. \r\n\r\nEnglish language learners, low-income families, and inner-city children deeply benefit from hands-on experiences that ground and connect them with the earth and with what sustains us as humans, food production. It means the world to me to have materials that engage them and have them fall in love with learning as well as the concepts.
