The face masks were all used, and it made a difference to see students feel comfortable asking for one when they needed it. The headphones were a huge help as well—every student was able to use a pair, either from the new set or from what we already had, which made our learning time more focused and productive. The hooks created a great organizational system, giving students a designated spot to hang their headphones using their number, which has helped keep our classroom tidy and efficient.\r\n\r\nThe primary lined paper has been used in so many meaningful activities. Whether practicing writing sentences or working through math problems, this resource has had a direct impact on improving my students' writing and academic skills. And of course—prizes! Having awards and small incentives has been a powerful motivator, helping students stay on task and do their best. Your support has truly enriched our classroom environment, and we are grateful for every item that has contributed to our success.","fullyFundedDate":1738294070339,"projectUrl":"project/1st-grade-supplies-for-fun-safety-org/8983206/","projectTitle":"1st Grade Supplies for Fun, Safety & Organization","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Lewis","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9615495_orig.jpg?crop=1958,1958,x285,y399&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1722374271327","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9615495"},{"teacherId":9615495,"projectId":8704460,"letterContent":"The new resources I am using thank to your generosity includes colorful book bins to have in our library, number stickers to label every students items, as well as expo markers to write on laminated paper, and a rolling desk so I may move around the classroom to facilitate instruction while being able to move my materials and book with me.\r\nThe book bins have been a wonderful addition to the classroom library that the students enjoy. We are now able to have our books organized and easily found and put away. The large sized bins allows all books to fit in. The rainbow colors of the bins also adds to our wonderful colorful classroom environment.\r\nThe number stickers are not only my favorite but the students as well. It allows the students and I to easily identify their materials, and if misplaced in the classroom, we can easily identify the books, materials, headphones, etc. All materials students have are numbered, and every student not only knows their own number but everyone else's as well. \r\nThe expo markers have been used daily by both the students and myself. The students use them for their group work when using whiteboards or during partner work in the classroom. The laminated sheets are used daily for math, and can be easily reused without having to keep printing and printing more paper. I used the expos when checking attendance and homework. I can easily mark and erase notes daily of students, and use the same laminated sheet with an expo in stand of daily rosters of the students.\r\nThe standing desk has been so helpful in the classroom. I can move myself and the materials easily around the classroom to engage with students or to easily work one-on-one with a student by their desk.\r\nThank you again for your continuous support of my classrooms organization and effectiveness with these amazing supplies.","fullyFundedDate":1725850705665,"projectUrl":"project/continued-organization-support/8704460/","projectTitle":"Continued Organization & Support","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Lewis","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9615495_orig.jpg?crop=1958,1958,x285,y399&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1722374271327","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9615495"},{"teacherId":9615495,"projectId":8917536,"letterContent":"Thank you for the continued support of my classroom. We have been enjoying the headphones for every student to use during their iReady and Lexia, the pointer that both I and the students use daily, as well as clipboards for every student so they work around the classroom.\r\nThe headphones for every student has been great as the students use them daily, Monday through Friday. Every student gets their own pair to use for their learning. It helps them being able to listen, as well as keep the volume level of the classroom down, rather than having each student iReady and Lexia lesson being heard by the whole class. \r\nThe pointer has been a great aid in the classroom when pointing to information presented in the classroom. Students also get to use it on special occasions which makes it very special. \r\nThe clip boards for every student allow them to work where they feel comfortable. Students are able to sit on the carpet or library and have a hard surface to do their work. We also utilize the clip boards for partner work, where students are able to work anywhere in the classroom.\r\nThe hooks have been very cool and exciting for the students. They are hooked on their chair and holds their chromebook case as well as their pencil case. This allows for easy access for each student, as well as an awesome storage area to hand their materials.\r\nThe mints have been a wonderful addition as well. Not only is it used as a reward or incentive, it is given out any time we have an assessment (usually a unit test) that is longer than are weekly quizzes. It is a fun treat to relax the students when the need to focus.\r\nThank you again for your support in my classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1731635519394,"projectUrl":"project/continued-support-to-organize-and-learn/8917536/","projectTitle":"Continued Support to Organize and Learn","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Lewis","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9615495_orig.jpg?crop=1958,1958,x285,y399&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1722374271327","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9615495"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_107037","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":480,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":63,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":1,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":89,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":83.6,"schoolId":107037,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Benito Juarez Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Benito Juarez Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/west-contra-costa-unified-school-district/benito-juarez-elementary-richmond/107037"}
