So far the grinder, electric screwdriver, and drill have allowed middle school students to safely complete the necessary steps for their ideation and creation. I am so thankful for the support and students will continue to use the tools for some upcoming projects–a sensory wall for younger students and an 8th-grade project building animal shelters for Lindsay Wildlife Museum. \r\n\r\nThe next steps will be to incorporate their proper use and safety with some younger students–at least most tools and certainly not all. I hope to include more wood working in our space as well.
