We used the tiles and paint pens to create memory tiles. We also used the cardstock and markers to complete some of our other end of year projects. The supply cases are being used to organize their manipulatives and supplies.\r\n\r\nNext year the students will continue to use the supplies to help keep them organized. The mini trampoline and spinning chair have made a wonderful difference in supporting our students' self-regulation and focus. Many of our students benefit from movement breaks throughout the day, and these new resources provide safe, engaging ways for them to release energy and calm their bodies. For example, during our morning routine, students take turns using the trampoline for a few minutes, which helps them settle into learning with greater attention and less anxiety.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, the excitement in the room was palpable! Students were curious and eager to try the trampoline and spinning chair right away. Their smiles and laughter as they explored these tools were heartwarming. One student who often struggles with staying seated was able to engage more fully in a group activity after a short spinning break, which was a powerful moment for both the student and the class.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we are integrating these resources into our upcoming lessons on sensory awareness and self-regulation strategies. Our goal is to help students recognize when they need a movement break and how to use these tools independently to stay calm and focused. Your support has truly brought a new energy to our classroom, and we are so grateful for your partnership in helping our students thrive.","fullyFundedDate":1746785261890,"projectUrl":"project/sensory-regulation/9238555/","projectTitle":"Sensory Regulation","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Rachael Vander Meulen","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9843247_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1732072640357","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9843247"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_38598","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":520,"numTeachers":26,"percentFrplEligible":65,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":3,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":93,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":1,"gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"20.0:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":76.9,"schoolId":38598,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Bobier Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Bobier Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/vista-unified-school-district/bobier-elementary-school/38598"}
