The mini trampoline and spinning chair have made a wonderful difference in supporting our students' self-regulation and focus. Many of our students benefit from movement breaks throughout the day, and these new resources provide safe, engaging ways for them to release energy and calm their bodies. For example, during our morning routine, students take turns using the trampoline for a few minutes, which helps them settle into learning with greater attention and less anxiety.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, the excitement in the room was palpable! Students were curious and eager to try the trampoline and spinning chair right away. Their smiles and laughter as they explored these tools were heartwarming. One student who often struggles with staying seated was able to engage more fully in a group activity after a short spinning break, which was a powerful moment for both the student and the class.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we are integrating these resources into our upcoming lessons on sensory awareness and self-regulation strategies. Our goal is to help students recognize when they need a movement break and how to use these tools independently to stay calm and focused. Your support has truly brought a new energy to our classroom, and we are so grateful for your partnership in helping our students thrive.","fullyFundedDate":1746785261890,"projectUrl":"project/sensory-regulation/9238555/","projectTitle":"Sensory Regulation","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Rachael Vander Meulen","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9843247_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1732072640357","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9843247"},{"teacherId":10080886,"projectId":9491520,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for helping provide the everyday essentials that keep our classroom running smoothly! The snacks have already been such a blessing—when a student forgets their lunch or just needs a little extra fuel to get through the day, it makes such a difference to be able to offer something right away. The tissues and hand sanitizer have also been lifesavers in helping us stay healthy and ready to learn together.\r\n\r\nThe prize box has been a huge hit! My students light up when they get to pick a little reward for their hard work or positive behavior. It's such a fun way to celebrate their accomplishments and encourage them to keep trying their best. The supplies like the caddies, glue sticks, and scissors have also helped keep our classroom organized and made projects run more smoothly.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, my students feel cared for and supported every day. The crayon caddies have been a lifesaver for keeping things organized. Students love being able to grab the colors they need and then return them neatly. We also keep scissors and glue sticks tucked inside, so everything for projects is right at their fingertips. On the very first day of school, the students were so excited to see the new supplies. They were especially happy to have tools they could use and take responsibility for. Having their own scissors, glue sticks, and crayons gave them a sense of independence, and they've really enjoyed caring for their materials.\r\n\r\nThe ladder and drying rack have already made such a difference in helping us create a bright, welcoming space. I've been using the ladder to hang student work and decorations all around the room, which makes the kids so proud to see their creations on display. The drying rack has been wonderful for keeping artwork organized and safe while it dries—no more papers spread across every surface! Together, these items have helped us showcase student work in a way that makes the classroom feel truly theirs.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, we've been able to dive into projects with less stress and more creativity. I can't wait to see them thrive with the tools you've helped provide.","fullyFundedDate":1752798435148,"projectUrl":"project/help-a-first-year-teacher-build-her-kind/9466179/","projectTitle":"Help a First-Year Teacher Build Her Kindergarten Classroom!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Anderson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10080886_orig.jpg?crop=1330,1330,x1018,y1048&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1752625401514","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10080886"},{"teacherId":8434899,"projectId":9167414,"letterContent":"Thank you for your donations.
