Many of the books were from the early 90s and older. When children have access to new, relevant books, they are more inclined to read and discover information they never had before. Nonfiction lets them learn about topics in the present and the past. Books about the past put a new-age spin on historical events and add details that were previously unknown. \r\n\r\nBrad Meltzer's Ordinary People series has attracted younger readers, helping them learn about people from the past in an easy, fun format. They have especially enjoyed buddy reading them with friends. \r\n\r\nThank you so much for your donations.
