The picture and word labels have made it much easier for students to identify where each type of block belongs. One special moment was watching students work together after building a large structure. Instead of waiting for an adult to help clean up, they looked at the labels, sorted the blocks, and encouraged one another as they returned everything to its proper place. Cleanup became a natural part of their learning and teamwork.\r\n\r\nThe students were excited to see the new storage system and immediately wanted to explore it. They were especially interested in the picture labels and quickly began matching the blocks to their designated spaces. Students proudly told us where different blocks belonged and were eager to show that they could clean up \"all by themselves.\" It was wonderful to see their confidence grow as they realized they were capable of taking responsibility for their classroom.\r\n\r\nOur next steps are to continue using the block area as a space for creativity, collaboration, problem-solving, and communication. Students will work together to design and build structures, discuss their ideas, and practice taking turns and solving problems when their plans don't work the first time. We will also continue reinforcing independent cleanup as part of our daily routine.
