For many of my students, this will be their very first experience using technology like this, and I cannot wait to watch their faces when they realize they can turn their own ideas, drawings, and designs into real engraved creations.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite things about makerspace learning is watching students discover talents they didn't even know they had. This machine is going to open the door for so many opportunities, from learning about engineering, digital design, entrepreneurship, and skilled trades. \r\n\r\nIf I read correctly, you're from Lakeport, so you probably understand firsthand that living in a small rural community often means students have limited or sometimes no access to tools and technology like this.
