My students were so excited when they first saw the colorful ABC eggs and puzzles — their faces lit up as they eagerly began matching letters and sounds. Each day, we use the ABC eggs to practice identifying letters and beginning sounds, and the puzzles help us build fine motor skills while reinforcing letter recognition.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments was watching a few students proudly complete their first alphabet puzzle independently — they were so proud of themselves! These materials have made learning hands-on and engaging for all of my students. Our next step is to use the letters to build simple CVC words and start blending sounds together, continuing to grow their early reading skills.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for supporting our classroom and making these meaningful learning moments possible!","fullyFundedDate":1758815170179,"projectUrl":"project/sorting-and-puzzles/9717136/","projectTitle":"Sorting and Puzzles","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Shea","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2968702_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1745159595943","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2968702"},{"teacherId":1565492,"projectId":9374352,"letterContent":"Thank you so very much for your kind donation of the FOH (front of house) speakers. The book, Yo no soy tu perfecta hija mexicana, has had an impact on my students. As the school year 2025-2026 begins, the first thing I introduced to my students was this book. My students are hooked on reading the book, especially my female students. They have expressed to me their immense gratitude for your donations, as they have learned to appreciate that reading from a physical book is more important than reading a digital book. Besides that, they love the book's theme since it is related to their daily lives. They are mirroring their culture, traditions, rules, and struggles in this book. My Students appreciate learning about their own culture, traditions, and struggles, which gives them a sense of purpose and inclusion in the society in which they live. \r\n\r\nThank you a million for these amazing donations to my classroom. \r\n\r\nForever grateful, \r\n\r\nMaricela Verduzco \r\nAP Spanish Language and Literature. \r\nRio Linda High School \r\nmaricela.verduzco@trusd.net","fullyFundedDate":1742942854754,"projectUrl":"project/help-latinx-read-in-their-language/9092375/","projectTitle":"Help LatinX Read in Their Language","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Verduzco","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9819632"},{"teacherId":9818335,"projectId":9201339,"letterContent":"We recently started the school year, and I'm excited to share that we've already been using our new supplies to make our first lessons more interactive and engaging. One of the activities my students loved was using the food set to \"shop\" and create their own grocery lists in Spanish. This hands-on experience helped them practice new vocabulary in a fun and meaningful way, while also building confidence in speaking.\r\nWhat's most exciting for my students is that the technology and supplies make learning feel less like work and more like play. Instead of just memorizing words, they get to use them in real-life situations. This has sparked a lot of enthusiasm in the classroom, and I've already noticed students who are usually a bit shy participating more actively.\r\nOne student in particular, who often hesitates to speak in Spanish, eagerly jumped into the grocery store activity and even volunteered to share their list with the class. Moments like this show just how much these tools are helping create an encouraging and inclusive learning environment.\r\nWe're so grateful for your generosity—it's already making a big difference in our classroom!","fullyFundedDate":1747325171364,"projectUrl":"project/vamos-a-aprender-interactive-tools-for/9201339/","projectTitle":"¡Vamos a Aprender!
