Instead of students always having to face the front of the classroom, I can bring our visual supports, lessons, vocabulary, and anchor charts directly to where students are learning. This is especially helpful for our young learners, who benefit from seeing information presented in clear, visual, and engaging ways.\r\nThe Spanish instructional resources have also been especially valuable in our Dual Immersion classroom. They give my students developmentally appropriate opportunities to build vocabulary, strengthen early literacy skills, and make connections between what they are learning and the language they use every day. The laminated materials can be reused throughout the year, allowing students to practice skills repeatedly and independently.\r\nOne of the most exciting parts for my students is having resources that make learning feel more like exploration. They love being able to interact with visual materials, participate in lessons from different areas of the classroom, and use hands-on activities to show what they know.\r\nThe classroom wagon has also made a difference in our daily routines. Students can more easily manage their water bottles, jackets, lunches, and classroom belongings during transitions to and from recess. This helps them practice independence and responsibility while keeping our transitions organized and giving us more time for learning.\r\nI have especially noticed that students who need movement, repetition, or additional visual support are able to participate more confidently when these resources are available. The flexibility of the materials allows me to meet students where they are and provide different ways for them to engage with learning.\r\nBecause of this project, my students are not only learning academic skills they are also building confidence, independence, language skills, and a love of learning. Our avid readers have been especially excited about the new collection, even asking to spend their recess inside so they can continue reading! When the students first saw the paint sticks, they were thrilled! Their eyes lit up with excitement, and they couldn't wait to start creating. I have seen a huge increase of both boys and girls taking care of the baby dolls; maiking sure they have weather appropriate colothes on and giving them a bottle to \"drink\". The puppets are a big hit as well, it is so nice to see some students noticing that these puppets look like them! some of my students have never see a toy that looks like them. They are representated in our clasrroom. This was a huge goal for me. I wanted every child to be seen and acknowledged. Because of your generosity, my first grade students now have access to the *A Little Spot of Learning* book series and conversation cards that are helping us build a classroom community focused on kindness, empathy, and understanding emotions.\r\n\r\nThese books have introduced important social-emotional skills in a way that is fun and easy for young children to understand. Through the stories and characters, students are learning how to recognize and talk about their feelings, calm themselves when upset, solve problems with classmates, and show empathy toward others. The conversation cards have quickly become a class favorite during morning meetings and partner discussions because they encourage students to share, listen, and reflect on their own experiences and emotions.\r\n\r\nReading in our classroom is very interactive. We gather together for read-alouds, pause to talk about characters' choices, and connect the lessons in the books to real situations in our classroom. Many of my students, especially my English Language Learners, feel more comfortable joining discussions because the visuals and simple language make emotions easier to understand and talk about. I've already noticed students using strategies and phrases from the books during everyday situations with their classmates. Hearing first graders remind each other to \"take a deep breath\" or \"use kind words\" has been so rewarding.\r\n\r\nYour support has made a real difference in our classroom.
