We no longer have to use tables and unused chairs to put our wet art on. The pictures I shared show what my students created this week. They used paint and Q Tips to paint on foil. last week they made pictures using tissue paper and water. Each of the weekly projects gives my students ideas to use with young children.\r\n\r\nOpen ended, colorful and sometimes messy art teaches my students the best way for prek students to learn. My high schoolers are on their way to becoming future teachers. Materials that you helped purchase are being used with enthusiasm. Every Thursday I teach the students a lesson that they can teach young children. Their first experience with watercolors taught them much. They learned how young children can learn about cause and effect, colors, small motor skills and sequencing. \r\n\r\nThe tag board that was purchased, was used for making timelines. The students made timelines that demonstrated how child development started; from 400 BC to present. The materials that you helped purchase are helping our future early educators.
