My room was the talk of the town with our colorful seats. Last years group had a great time using their new seats, grouping by color and enjoying 'big kid' seating for my kindergarteners.\r\n\r\nThe impact of this donation has left such a smile on their faces and warmth in their hearts that last years students like to come in and take a peek at their old seats and see new 'little ones' occupy their seats.\r\n\r\nMy new students noticed the colorful seats right away and now I'm known as the Kindergarten teacher with the cool seats. I explained to my students how we were able to get these seats and they were so happy and they told me to say thank you to all that made the cool room come to life. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the bottom of our 'seats' for this awesome gift.","fullyFundedDate":1742921839585,"projectUrl":"project/colorful-seat-what-a-treat/9174466/","projectTitle":"Colorful Seat, What a Treat!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Morelos-Bedolla","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp239286_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1726689377414","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/maricelamorelosbedolla"},{"teacherId":239286,"projectId":8760490,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for funding our project :fostering creativity one desk or square at a time\". This year my class has been a revolving door of students sometimes topping out at 32 and then back down to 27 and I only had carpet squares for 30 and desks for 28. But I have to say my students were totally fine with it and were ready to share with our new friends. \r\n\r\nNow that we have enough carpet squares and desks all of our friends have a place to call their own. Our added carpet squares allow for changing seating on the floor as well as creating small groups to work on cooperative activities. Our desks also give us that flexibility to arrange a large group or small groupings of desks for particular activiities. \r\n\r\nMy students arrange themselves in different ways as long as it works for them, is productive and includes all students. They were in on the process of preparing our project to submit, promoting our project to friends and family, following donations as they came in, celebrating at full funding, waiting for our packages, and then finally using all of our materials. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You made our \"seats\" sing!","fullyFundedDate":1733249393214,"projectUrl":"project/fostering-creativity-one-desk-or-square/8760490/","projectTitle":"Fostering Creativity One Desk or Square at a Time","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Morelos-Bedolla","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp239286_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1726689377414","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/maricelamorelosbedolla"},{"teacherId":239286,"projectId":8792649,"letterContent":"You should have seen my students faces when we were delivered the goal post boxes! They were so excited. We were able to get a few volunteers to put them together and all were ready to get started on bonding even more with their classmates. Currently I have students from Mexico, El Salvador, Peru, Colombia and Spain. World Cup here we come! \r\n\r\nIncoming new students who were reluctant to engage for whatever reason blossomed, came out of their shell and started participating/ engaging with their peers through futbol. Within days they were talking about makeshift uniforms, team names, etc. They wrote about their plans in their journals and in science they planned and built a mini futbol field. Word has gotten around of the soccer tournament plans of room E103.\r\n\r\nMy students would like to invite other grades to join and I could see this becoming a mock/ mini world cup tournament. The joy on their faces is priceless. My team and I continually strive to incorporate this new passion of futbol across curricular areas and it seems to be working, engaging and reaching across barriers uniting our students.","fullyFundedDate":1731081561933,"projectUrl":"project/hands-in-the-air-wave-like-you-just-don/8792649/","projectTitle":"Hands In The Air, Wave Like You Just Don't Care","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Morelos-Bedolla","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp239286_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1726689377414","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/maricelamorelosbedolla"},{"teacherId":4861180,"projectId":8786708,"letterContent":"With my four and five year old students, we do a lot of crafts throughout our school year!
