My 6th-grade students thoroughly enjoyed the \"Legend of Sleepy Hollow\" activity I used my TpT gift card on, and it set the tone for their own creative writing that followed. The activity brought sensory details to life, and I can see in their writing how it helped! I put the colored cardstock and paper to work with my 7th-graders, creating a game related to our study of literary devices. This was a huge hit, and they have been begging me to play again!\r\n\r\nJust as noteworthy--though this is mostly anecdotal--attendance seems stronger during this cold and flu season compared to last year. I believe it can be at least in part thanks to our more frequent cleaning of touch surfaces, thanks to our new stock of wipes.
