Your generosity and kindness has helped bring excitement, imagination, and more learning into our classroom. Each book is a special gift that will inspire students to explore new ideas, discover different perspectives, and grow as readers. Seeing my students smile as our class opened and received these books was truly exciting heartwarming.\r\n\r\nSeveral students have connected with these new books. Books have the power to open doors to new adventures and opportunities. Thanks to your support, it has helped encourage a lifelong love of reading. Reading in our classroom is active, collaborative, and exciting. The new books have created a stronger reading culture in our classroom because students are excited to pick up a book and talk about what they are reading. Because of your thoughtfulness, our students now have more chances to build their confidence, strengthen their skills, and enjoy the joy that comes from a great story. We are incredibly grateful for the time, care, and generosity you showed to our class.","fullyFundedDate":1777570929033,"projectUrl":"project/books-for-5th-grade-read-more-we-love-l/10142262/","projectTitle":"Books for 5th Grade- Read More We Love Literacy","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Malloian","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10461447"},{"teacherId":8161614,"projectId":9324884,"letterContent":"When the boxes arrived, the excitement in our classroom was contagious! My students could hardly contain their curiosity as we unpacked the wobble stools, magnetic manipulatives, and tiny animal erasers. Immediately, they were asking questions, exploring the new materials, and imagining how we might use them in our daily learning. Several students even offered to help set things up during recess—proof of how invested they were from the very beginning.\r\n\r\nThe wobble stools have been a game-changer for several of my students who struggle with sitting still or focusing for long periods. Now, they have the option to move while they work, and I've already noticed a positive difference in their engagement during small group reading and math instruction. The magnetic manipulatives have added a much-needed hands-on element to our lessons. During a recent science unit on magnetism, students were able to explore push-and-pull forces with real materials instead of just reading about them. They were so excited to \"see science in action,\" and their understanding of the concept deepened as a result.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generous support, we now have a more dynamic, student-centered classroom. These tools are helping us build not only academic skills but also a stronger, more inclusive classroom community. Thank you for making such a meaningful difference!","fullyFundedDate":1746785469173,"projectUrl":"project/tools-to-move-manipulate-and-motivate/9324884/","projectTitle":"Tools to Move, Manipulate, and Motivate","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Colon","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8161614"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_130178","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":415,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":49,"percentAsian":19,"percentBlack":4,"percentWhite":17,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":52,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"US Census Data for the surrounding geographic area","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 12","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"Census ZCTA","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":null},"inStateSupporters":86.2,"schoolId":130178,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about The Learning Choice Academy - Chula Vista on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"The Learning Choice Academy - Chula Vista","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/the-learning-choice-academy/the-learning-choice-academy-chula-vista/130178"}
