The students who come into the library love the new bean bags! Many groups of friends rush to get to the reading corner first at lunch so they can hang out there.\r\n\r\nFrequently, teachers send students to the library to work independently, often because they need a break from the regular classroom setting, and now many of these students choose to sit in the reading corner so they can comfortably do their work. Others just enjoy having a safe place for a mental health break. Also, students from our book club love this new space. Our staff and parents also love how welcoming this new space feels.\r\n\r\nThe next steps for our library are to add some student-created artwork, offer more hands-on activities, and promote reading and literacy with all of our students.
