Many of my students come to school ready to learn, but hunger can make it difficult to focus, participate, and feel their best. Having snacks available provided students with the energy and comfort they needed to stay engaged in their learning.\r\n\r\nStudents were excited to have a consistent snack option in the classroom and appreciated knowing that their needs were being supported. It created a caring classroom environment where students felt valued and ready to take on challenges. We used snack time as an opportunity to build independence, practice social skills, and create positive routines.\r\n\r\nBecause of this support, my students were able to spend more time focused on learning, collaborating with peers, and building confidence in the classroom.
