Your generosity has already made a meaningful difference in our learning environment. Our new color printer and copier has transformed the way I can prepare materials for my students. Instead of waiting until recess, lunch, or the end of the day to access a shared copier, I am now able to quickly print resources the moment students need them. This has allowed me to be more responsive during lessons and provide clearer, more accessible visual that support all types of learners.\r\nOne of this biggest changes has been the burst of color now filling our classroom. I've been able to decorate our walls with bright, engaging posters that help students better understand vocabulary, math concepts, and reading skills. My students immediately noticed the difference! I've even had several former students walk in and said the room \"feels exciting\" and \"like a real learning space.\" Having a colorful environment has made our classroom feel more welcoming and inspiring for them each day.\r\nStudents are also thrilled that they'll be able to send me photos, documents, and project pieces to print in color for their assignments. This will allow them to personalize their work, add visuals to presentations, and take more pride in what they create. A few students who normally hesitate to participate in projects have already shown more enthusiasm now that they know they can add printed images or graphics to their work. The printer is also quiet and very easy to use, which has made it seamlessly fit into our daily routine.\r\nThank you again for making our classroom a brighter, more efficient, and more creative space. Your support has made a real impact on my students, and we are all sincerely grateful.","fullyFundedDate":1758380014641,"projectUrl":"project/learning-in-color/9457730/","projectTitle":"Learning in Color","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Acosta","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10075338_orig.jpg?crop=1953,1953,x193,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1752128360961","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10075338"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_42928","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":964,"numTeachers":36,"percentFrplEligible":64,"percentAsian":6,"percentBlack":7,"percentWhite":9,"percentIndigenous":1,"percentLatinx":69,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"26.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":85.7,"schoolId":42928,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Commodore Stockton Skills School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Commodore Stockton Skills School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/stockton-unified-school-district/commodore-stockton-skills-school/42928"}
