My students read each day for 20 minutes in the morning for a program we call D.E.A.R which means Drop Everything And Read. Not having a dedicated library at our school has impacted the students of our community in a big way. It is my goal to foster a love of reading for the young students and children in my community and you have had a hand in helping me achieve this goal. \r\nMy students have helped set up the supplies and shelve the books that have been donated and are using the chairs each day. I have a student list that allows the students to rotate the use of the chairs during our reading time.
