The high-interest, low-level books are perfect for my students who are struggling readers. Not only does the variety of books (sports, school, mystery) entice my students and keep them engaged in reading, but also encourages them to practice their reading skills. In addition, the characters and stories within the books teach my students practical skills such as problem solving, team work, and critical thinking. As Seniors about to graduate, these skills are extremely important for them to possess!\r\n\r\nThe corner bookshelf truly is a perfect addition to the Chill Zone. The multiple shelves are great for holding books, lap desks, activity books (such as coloring books), and \"calming items\" (stress balls, 1-minute meditation cards, timed-timer). One special feature of the bookshelf is the charging station at the top. This has become a handy spot for my students to charge their chromebooks and headphones!\r\n\r\nThank you so much for your generosity and support of special education students!","fullyFundedDate":1755288332740,"projectUrl":"project/encouraging-reading-with-class-library/9541459/","projectTitle":"Encouraging Reading with Class Library","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Ruebush","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9448033_orig.jpg?crop=871,871,x0,y20&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1754942398005","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9448033"},{"teacherId":270674,"projectId":9571308,"letterContent":"We can't thank you enough for the generous donation of our materials!
