As a first year teacher, and working in a low income area our resources are very limited. With your donations I was able to welcome a very energetic and intelligent first grade class. With the books provided to me, I was able to teach them many SEL lessons. Which they needed, since they completed their kindergarten via zoom and they had little to no knowledge on how to behave in a classroom and with other students. \r\nIn my classroom, reading is our backbone to all the fabulous learning we do everyday. All day long we transition, while using our books in between.
