When the students first saw the 3D printer arrived some knew what it was and some did not. The first thing we did was watch videos on what a 3D printer is and what it could do. Oh boy! Their imaginations went wild. No, we can not print a boat for you to take your family on! :)\r\n\r\nWe talked about something everyone could do and use. We decided on keychains with their names. I taught them how to use the 3D software to create what they would be printing. That was fun. They were successful.\r\n\r\nThis semester I am looking forward to seeing what they can create on their own and print out. I would like to tie it into a story we are reading and groups can create the setting, etc. Thank you so much again.
