The new color printer/copier has made my job as a classroom teacher so much easier and has increased engagement and excitement for my students during their lessons.\r\n\r\nThe copy room is a very busy place at school! Before school, at recess, during lunch, and after school, teachers can be found making their weekly copies for their lessons. Sometimes the line to make copies is so long and time is wasted waiting for your turn. With my own printer, not only can I make all of my copies from the comfort of my classroom whenever I want to make them, but with a color printer, I can make my worksheets, posters, and centers as colorful as I want! Being able to print another copy right away if a student loses a paper or makes a mistake is so incredibly helpful for me and my students as well!\r\n\r\nOnce I received my printer, I began to create new worksheets and colorful displays for our classroom. On the first day of school all of the kids and their families commented on what a bright and inviting environment the classroom was. The kids were excited to come inside to see more! Since then, I have labeled book tubs to make their favorite books easier to find, created posters to remind them of some of our writing strategies, and added UFLI resources on our walls. I am also able to create visual schedules and behavior reward systems for my students who require extra visual supports. \r\n\r\nYour generosity has made an impactful difference for our students and our classroom.
