These magazines have quickly become a favorite resource for my students, giving them a fresh and exciting way to explore reading. Many of my students bring their copies home, giving them valuable opportunities to read with their families and continue learning outside of school.\r\n\r\nThe articles have opened the door to meaningful conversations about current events, fascinating places, and inspiring kids who are making a difference. My students love seeing real-world connections to what we learn in class, and the engaging stories help even my reluctant readers feel confident and interested. The magazines have helped build both curiosity and a stronger love of reading.\r\n\r\nFor me as a teacher, these Scholastic resources have been an incredible support. The ready-to-go lessons and activities make it easy to connect the content to our social studies standards and enrich our daily instruction. Your generosity has made a noticeable impact on the quality of learning in our classroom, and I am truly grateful for the opportunities you've given my students. Many of our students struggle with foundational math concepts that are critical for their academic growth, especially when it comes to real-world applications like understanding money, telling time, and working with fractions. With the addition of new technology and hands-on tools, students are now able to access lessons in a more visual, interactive, and concrete way. This has been especially meaningful for students with IEPs and learning differences, who benefit from step-by-step guided instruction and repetition with immediate feedback.\r\n\r\nWhat excites my students most is how this technology transforms learning into something they can actively participate in. Rather than feeling overwhelmed by numbers on a worksheet, they're now dragging digital coins into a cash register, using interactive clocks to solve elapsed time problems, and slicing digital shapes to explore equivalent fractions. This approach has been especially effective in the upper elementary grades where content becomes more abstract, and the demands of independent thinking increase. For many of our special education students, these tools serve as a bridge between conceptual understanding and academic independence. Lessons that once felt frustrating are now filled with exploration and discovery, and students are more willing to take risks because they have supportive, accessible tools at their fingertips.\r\n\r\nOne of my fifth-grade students, who receives special education services for math and reading, has shown tremendous growth since we implemented this project. Before, he would often shut down or avoid math activities out of frustration. Now, with the interactive tools, he's participating actively, asking thoughtful questions, and even helping his peers understand difficult concepts like division and converting fractions. He beams with pride when he solves problems on the interactive whiteboard and finally sees himself as someone who can do math. It's stories like his that highlight how critical these tools are in helping all students—including those with learning differences—access grade-level content and experience academic success. Your support has created not just engagement but real, meaningful progress for students who need it most.","fullyFundedDate":1736803529180,"projectUrl":"project/money-time-fractions-addition-divisi/8871376/","projectTitle":"Money, Time, Fractions, Addition, Division Help My Students Learn!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Martinez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp2930954_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1454809987309","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/jamie-martinez"},{"teacherId":1997376,"projectId":8939557,"letterContent":"Our fifth and sixth grade class produces Video Bulletins for our school.
