Students are using their flexible seating on a daily basis. This has definitely increased students' ability to focus in the classroom. Since we don't have a yoga ball for every student in our classroom, students follow a rotating schedule on a weekly basis so that every student gets an opportunity to use the flexible seating. When we received our resources, students were static to start using the flexible seating and have all done a great job following the classroom rules when using a yoga ball. \r\n\r\nThe new seating options have had an incredible impact on our students. They now have the freedom to choose where and how they work, which has empowered them to take charge of their learning. Whether they're working independently or collaborating in small groups, the flexible seating arrangement allows them to focus better, engage more deeply, and express themselves more comfortably.\r\n\r\nOnce again, thank you for your generosity. Your belief in the power of education and your commitment to supporting our classroom means the world to me and my students. We are incredibly grateful for your support and I will be able to use the flexible seating with my future students as well.","fullyFundedDate":1711739643458,"projectUrl":"project/staying-focused-with-flexible-seating/8268254/","projectTitle":"Staying Focused with Flexible Seating","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Martinez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9492407"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_74881","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":497,"numTeachers":23,"percentFrplEligible":59,"percentAsian":9,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":5,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":81,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"21.6:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_MIDSIZE"},"inStateSupporters":80.9,"schoolId":74881,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about New Republic Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"New Republic Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/santa-rita-union-school-district/new-republic-elementary-school/74881"}
