They couldn't stop smiling, pointing, and asking, \"Can we try it now?\" The sensory table quickly became a busy hub, with children scooping, pouring, and sorting with the wooden tools and seasonal fillers. At our free-choice tables, students gravitated toward the number pops, and magnetic road pieces. These materials have helped them practice early math, fine motor skills, and cooperative play in ways that feel joyful and natural.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments was watching a small group use the hopscotch and bean bag toss game during center time. A student who often needs movement breaks invited friends to join, showing them how to take turns and cheer each other on. Meanwhile, another group quietly explored the 3D pin art board, taking turns making shapes and describing what they saw. These moments show how the materials support both social-emotional learning and independent exploration.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, our classroom now has engaging rotations that keep students focused, calm, and excited to learn. As we continue our math and STEM activities this month, students will use the materials to deepen their understanding of patterns, counting, and problem-solving. These resources will support them all year long, helping them explore, create, and grow through meaningful hands-on play. Thank you for making this possible for my students—they truly feel the impact every day.","fullyFundedDate":1758839703601,"projectUrl":"project/hands-on-learning-through-sensory-play-a/9745969/","projectTitle":"Hands-On Learning Through Sensory Play and Exploration","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Tammy","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7377491"},{"teacherId":8054289,"projectId":9470701,"letterContent":"The new materials funded through this project will make a meaningful difference in our preschool classroom every single day. With the addition of air-dry clay, playdough, craft tape, and paper heart doilies, my students will engage in richer sensory experiences that support their fine-motor development, creativity, and early artistic skills. These open-ended materials invite children to explore textures, shapes, and colors while encouraging them to experiment, problem-solve, and express themselves with confidence.\r\n\r\nThe dollhouse furniture will open the door to more collaborative, imaginative play. As children create stories, share ideas, and act out real-world scenarios together, they strengthen their language development, social-emotional skills, and ability to work as a team. These play opportunities help children build empathy, communication skills, and independence—all essential foundations for future learning.\r\n\r\nOverall, this project brings more joy, curiosity, and discovery into our daily environment. Thanks to your generosity, my preschoolers will have more opportunities to learn through play, develop their unique strengths, and take pride in what they create. Thank you for helping shape meaningful experiences that will support their growth this year and in the years to come.","fullyFundedDate":1757549722908,"projectUrl":"project/hands-on-learning-through-art-and-imagin/9470701/","projectTitle":"Hands-On Learning Through Art and Imagination!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Sady","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8054289_orig.jpg?crop=2395,2395,x0,y375&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1631307699682","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8054289"},{"teacherId":8054289,"projectId":8899420,"letterContent":"Thank you for your generous contributions to our preschool classroom!
