When meeting with their series group, they share their thoughts about the story and focus on how the character develops across the series. This deepens their comprehension as readers and gets them engaged in trying new series. \r\n\r\nThese series sets have made such a difference in teaching reading skills to second graders and has better prepared them for third grade. They are able to capture their thoughts on post it notes while reading independently, and are then ready to share their thoughts with their peers. This gives them self confidence as readers.
