My students and I are very grateful to you for funding this project. Edison international foundation has created greater motivation and success academically for my students.\r\n\r\nAs a class, I have students who come from single families and multigenerational families in the inner city. Many read below grade level. They also have lower math skills. It is my goal to help. my student become successful and raise their scores so that they will be able to compete with other students and be on the cutting edge for the future.\r\n\r\nThe gift you have given us allows us to meet our goals because not only are these strategy games and toys for building structures for rainy days, they are also very motivating to help children meet their goals in the classroom and strive for doing their best academically. We have a 25 minute block on Fridays for students who have met their weekly goals academically.
