They were so proud to see their creations displayed for everyone to enjoy. The students were also very excited when they used watercolors for the first time. Watching them mix colors, experiment with the paint, and create their own colorful paintings was such a special moment.\r\n\r\nThese new materials have given my students more opportunities to explore, create, and build confidence through hands-on experiences. We are continuing to use the art supplies as we explore new projects and encourage the children to make choices and share their ideas through art. For weeks, this student was withdrawn and unable to focus in class, often shutting down when asked how they felt. During our first session with the new resources, the student bypassed the art supplies and went straight for the figures.
