When the box arrived I left it on my back patio for a few weeks before finding the time to build it. During that time my students were so curious about what was inside the mystery box. When I finally built the table, they were so excited to have an outdoor space that they could do different activities instead of the ground. We have not had the best weather for outdoor activities but sunny days are coming and I know that the table will be put to good use this spring. We just planted seeds this week so I expect that the table will be a place for them to be able to write their observations about the growth of the plants. Their favorites were dog Man, Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Who Would Win books. They especially loved receiving hard back books to keep and enjoy.\r\nAnd finally last month, I shared books with our Emerging Bilingual Parent group.
