To be transparent, it did take them some time to get the hang of some of them. I love how these centers have pushed their thinking and problem solving skills. They have really enjoyed the car building and house building. We are still working on building the bridges but have found it is not as easy as the other two.\r\n\r\nThank you again for helping our class be able to include science and science standards into our daily routines. We have enough equipment for the blacktop to assign a different activity for each day of the week. Currently it is our rainy season in California which unfortunately means we keep our little ones off of the playground to keep them dry. All of our new equipment is allowing my kids to still be able to enjoy their recess and have new activities to do each day. I love that we are able to use these wobble stools throughout the day and across all subjects. I am also able to switch up the stools to new students when I feel it is needed. The games support a variety of student needs, across all reading levels. The snap and build sight word center is very popular and I will be switch out the words each week as we learn new sight words. The magnetic beginning sound center is also popular with students. \r\n\r\nWith the addition of these new literacy center games, students are thoroughly engaged, which enables me to teach differentiated guided reading uninterrupted. I can even incorporate some of these centers into my small group guided reading lessons. Additionally, I can use the bins for both literacy and math centers, as they come in assorted sizes. My next step is to label each bin and each shelf, to make finding and cleaning up each center quick and easy. \r\n\r\nThank you so much for gifting these storage bins to my class.
