As a teacher, I feel like one of the luckiest people in the world to get to work with 24 wonderful students everyday. I work in a Title I school in East Palo Alto, California. My school has about 90% of the students on free or reduced lunch. All of my students come from families that do many things to help provide their children with happy and healthy lives. Unfortunately, many of my parents are either unable to provide their children with the proper education tools or are unaware of the proper education tools to help their children. Many of the families have both parents working multiple jobs or even just one parent active in their lives working multiple jobs. My kids come to school happy every day, ready to learn, excited about life, and I just want to give them the best education possible.
