They smiled, made comments, \"A new rug! What happened to the other one?\". Furthermore, they began jumping on the carpet's designs & rolling on the rug.\r\n My students use the new carpet everyday during Circle Time, Read Aloud time & Free Choice time. They all have designated spots on the rug which helps them develop a sense of ownership, pride & it helps them to focus & learn. In addition the carpet has , designs, letters & numbers which my students are able to identify & make connections to their learning.\r\n Next steps for us is to further develop our study of wheels. The kids have created a motorcycle with big lego blocks. They play with different vehicles, look for different wheels in our environment & talk about it.
