This is a wonderful way for students to focus their minds through creative expression. And our class absolutely loves using play-doh to reset after recess. We created an obstacle course, and they participated every Wednesday for 16 weeks. They loved it and even expressed a desire to do it more than once a week. They are excited for the next school year to see what we have planned for them.\r\n\r\nWe asked each student what they liked about the obstacle course, and some of their responses were, \"I know how to jump rope now,\" and \"I love doing the in-and-out with the ladders.\" Their initial times started at 5 minutes and 34 seconds, and by the end, they had improved to 4 minutes and 13 seconds—a significant improvement!\r\n\r\nA total of 27 students completed the obstacle course challenge. Many students are eager to sign up for the new school year in August 2026.
