We use the rugs for small group circles, where students collaborate, problem-solve, and build stronger connections with one another. The rugs have created a warm and welcoming space that encourages respect, focus, and calm. One special moment was seeing my students naturally form a circle on their own and begin guiding our morning greetings; it showed how much ownership and pride they feel in this shared space.\r\n\r\nThe rugs instantly made our classroom feel more grounded and unified. Moving forward, we'll continue using the rugs for community discussions, social-emotional learning, and small group collaboration that builds teamwork and empathy. The math storybooks have brought a new level of excitement and understanding to our lessons. We are using them to strengthen our multiplication, division, and fraction skills, and the students are truly enjoying the process. The stories help make challenging concepts more relatable and fun, turning math into an engaging adventure rather than a task.\r\n\r\nYour support has made a lasting impact on our classroom. The students love solving problems that connect directly to their curriculum through stories that spark their imagination and curiosity. I would love to share pictures of our students enjoying these lessons, but unfortunately, I'm having trouble uploading them at this time. Sometimes students read silently, jotting down their thoughts and questions on sticky notes to share later. Other times, we read aloud together and pause to model strategies like predicting, clarifying, or making inferences. Book clubs and partner reading are also a big part of our routine, giving students the chance to talk about literature in ways that deepen understanding and make reading feel social and engaging.\r\nSeveral students have been especially drawn to the new selections. One reluctant reader has been captivated by a graphic novel and now looks forward to reading time each day. Another student, who is always eager to discuss big ideas, has found a novel with themes of friendship and identity that speak to her personally—she's been leading discussions with excitement and insight. These moments remind us that the right book can spark a lifelong love of reading and help every student feel like literature has something to offer them.","fullyFundedDate":1746785857333,"projectUrl":"project/a-library-they-love/9240806/","projectTitle":"A Library They Love!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Landers","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8707390_orig.png?crop=398,398,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1725941137980","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8707390"},{"teacherId":9127030,"projectId":7841998,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous support!
