Because of your support, our classroom received a wonderful delivery of acrylic markers, smooth stones, board games, and various craft materials.\r\nWe used the materials during our scheduled break days to give the students a much-needed mental \"reset.\" Between rigorous testing sessions, the students dived into the craft bins and board games to decompress and recharge.\r\nThe highlight was definitely our rock painting project. Using the new acrylic markers and the stones, every student sat down to design their own masterpiece. It was a meditative period. One student mentioned that painting their rock felt like \"washing away the stress\" of the exam they had just finished.\r\nIt was wonderful to see them show off their creativity and personality through their art rather than just through test scores.\r\nThese resources aren't just a one-time treat. We plan to continue utilizing the board games and craft supplies during our next state testing rounds to ensure our classroom remains a supportive, balanced environment.\r\nThank you for making our classroom a brighter, more creative place!","fullyFundedDate":1766533233671,"projectUrl":"project/make-it-or-game-it-brain-break/9869183/","projectTitle":"Make It or Game It Brain Break","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Estrada","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6801883_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1567733971475","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6801883"},{"teacherId":6801883,"projectId":9610363,"letterContent":"We are incredibly grateful for your generous donation, which helped us purchase essential supplies for our classroom. Thanks to your support, we were able to acquire items such as markers, crayons, art supplies, and poster paper, which will be put to immediate use for creative and educational projects. For example, students researched the significance of Hispanic Heritage Month and the contributions of prominent Hispanic leaders. Next, they presented their findings and created posters. Your generosity has a direct and meaningful impact, allowing us to provide enriching experiences and a vibrant learning environment.\r\nWith your thoughtful contribution, our participants now have the tools they need to express their creativity, learn through hands-on activities, and engage in constructive play with a new board game during brain breaks. In addition, the stress toys will help students with test anxiety to maintain a positive and productive atmosphere for everyone involved.
