I am happy to report that these new items are greatly loved in the classroom. When students first spotted the new dolls and dollhouse toys, they were jumping up and down with excitement. Thus far, students have loved picking out different dolls to play multiple characters. These dolls have also sparked wonderful opportunities to discuss differing abilities of people. With the differing ability population show in our dolls, children get to play and build their understanding of the world around them. We are enjoying opportunities to play with these wonderful toys.","fullyFundedDate":1764726387529,"projectUrl":"project/dollhouse-remodel/9938394/","projectTitle":"Dollhouse Remodel","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Saunders","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10365439_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1764639847702","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mssaundersteaches"},{"teacherId":9017714,"projectId":9333954,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generosity in supporting our project, Kindergarten Careers: Exploring the World Through Play. Thanks to you, our classroom now has meaningful developmental play activities that truly support learning.\r\n\r\nOur project included dramatic play materials such as a grocery store and doctor's office play set, along with outfits and realistic tools. Due to a shipping delay, we only received the doctor's office set last week, so it is not fully set up yet. However, the grocery store has already become an incredible addition to our classroom.\r\n\r\nDuring developmental play time, it has been heartwarming to watch students step into roles as grocery store workers and customers. Even some of my quieter students have come out of their shells, feeling more confident speaking with peers and taking on a role within theplay space. Seeing students practice communication, cooperation, and problem-solving through play has been truly special.\r\n\r\nThe train tracks have also been a huge hit! Students love working together to build a functioning railroad, learning teamwork, planning, and persistence as they experiment with different designs.\r\n\r\nBecause of you, developmental play in our classroom is not just playtime, it is valuable learning time. Thank you for making this possible and for investing in experiences that help my students grow socially, emotionally, and academically.","fullyFundedDate":1757020508356,"projectUrl":"project/kindergarten-careers-exploring-the-worl/9333954/","projectTitle":"Kindergarten Careers: Exploring the World Through Play","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Nichols","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9017714_orig.png?crop=782,782,x29,y32&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1687968395350","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9017714"},{"teacherId":1505469,"projectId":9389335,"letterContent":"Thank you for your tremendous generosity!
