Every student gets a wipe and all surfaces that they touch are wiped down. It leaves the classroom fresh and sets a restart for the next week. \r\nThe headphones are so great to have extras ready to go in case something happens to the ones students bring in. As a Title I school, we often face challenges when it comes to having enough resources for every child. Something as simple as headphones may seem small, but in our classroom, they make a tremendous difference every single day.\r\n\r\nMany of you use technology at home, perhaps for work, entertainment, or keeping in touch with friends and family. In schools, technology plays a very different role, it's not just a tool, it's a lifeline for learning. My students use computers daily for reading practice, math games, assessments, and research. With headphones, each child can now focus without being distracted by the sounds of others around them. This is especially important in my combination classroom, where I teach more than one grade at the same time. When one group is learning with me in a small lesson, the other group can now work independently with their headphones on, fully engaged in their learning.\r\n\r\nBefore we had enough headphones, students had to share or go without, which made it hard for them to concentrate. Imagine trying to read a story while hearing someone else's math game beeping in the background, or trying to take an assessment while listening to another student's video lesson. Students take their wooden stick with their picture on it and place it in the feeling that best represents their feelings. Students can move their wooden stick to various feeling representations throughout the day to let everyone know how they are feeling. Many of my students are non-verbal, so this is a very helpful tool. Also, the pictures are used to teach students what the different emotions look like on a child's face.\r\n\r\nThese mesh bags are great for keeping our class organized. We use them for many different projects. We use them for student work. These bags are great quality and a wonderful addition to our classroom.\r\n\r\nAgain, thank you for the donations.
